Many Packet
Radio sysops today are using the F6FBB Bulletin Board System. It’s an excellent
piece of software but there’s one thing missing: it’s not possible to
automatically send FBB export-files to other sysops via email. In some
occasions it’s easier and/or faster to send FBB export-files via email;
therefore I’ve created FBB Gate 2000.
FBB Gate
will take an export-file, transform it to a ZIP-file and sends it via email to
another sysop. It can also split up one FBB exportfile and send it via multiple
email-messages (multipart feature).
FBB Gate
will also convert all incoming export-files to one MAIL.IN-file and import it
in FBB.
You can run
FBB Gate manually or use the AutoDial feature that will dial-in to your
Internet Provider send & receive the mail and disconnects the Internet
connection afterwards.
